Poor Conrad Murray Can't Make Restitution: Michael Jackson's Family Says 'Forget It.'

 

Poor Conrad Murray, the former doctor who lost his license to practice medicine, is currently behind bars, serving a 4 year jail sentence for his role in killing Michael Jackson.

"Poor Conrad Murray," literally represents his finances. Jackson's family was seeking more than $100 million in restitution from Murray, but not any more. Murray has no money to pay. He is broke. 

Even after his mere two years in jail, he can't practice medicine again. Although Murray was sentenced to serve four years in jail, his incarceration will be cut in half due to overcrowding and California's budget problems. No one knows how the former cardiologist will be able to support himself.

Legitimately earning $100 million to pay restitution is beyond anyones imagination. Last month, Murray filed papers indicating he is indigent, reports Huffington Post.

Known as a "deadbeat Dad," at least two mothers of his children (who number at least seven) had him in court for not helping to support his kids. His medical practice was in debt. The man's ethics in all things is suspect, beyond his responsibility for MJ's death.

The Jackson family decided it would serve no purpose to continue their request for restitution and informed the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. Therefore, the D.A. withdrew the request, reports TMZ. 

There remains two separate cases pending in a Los Angeles civil court. Seeking damages from concert giant AEG Live, Katherine Jackson is suing AEG Live saying they failed to properly supervise Murray. Joseph Jackson is also suing the concert promoter claiming negligence in his son's death.

While AEG Live's pockets are deep, Conrad Murray doesn't even have pockets.
